I am Anamaria,
Emotion-Focused Therapist

I accompany people through times when life feels overwhelming: when your mind is racing and your body is exhausted, when relationships become tense and it's difficult to find room to breathe. I'm with you every step of the way, at the pace that suits you. We'll look at your emotions, listen to them, give them meaning and work through what hurts. I work with gentleness and structure so that each step, no matter how small, can lead to a path forward.

My work takes different forms. I see clients in individual therapy, teach Psychology and Global Perspectives in the Cambridge system, and organise wellbeing workshops for organizations and groups. Also, I collaborate on international projects exploring wellbeing, leadership, human rights, and sustainable living, experiences that continue to teach me about different ways of being and seeing the world.


What stays the same, no matter the setting, is this: I try to be present. I listen. And I trust that each person already carries something in them that knows the way forward, the way to a life lived wholeheartedly. My role is to help them become aware of it and to walk alongside them as they do.


How I work

I use the EFT framework to make sense of what happens inside: to listen to emotions with curiosity and care and to understand what they might be trying to tell us. They often guide us toward needs, values, or parts of ourselves that need to be noticed, understood, and cared for with compassion. In therapy, we notice these signals and work towards building the way back to them.


Like seasons, our inner world experiences shifts. There are moments filled with vitality and hope and others that feel foggy, uncertain or even like a storm. All of this is part of being human. In therapy, we learn how to deal with these changes and reconnect with what brings us meaning, joy, and peace.

More than one path

Support can take different forms, depending on where you are and what feels most helpful. Alongside therapy, I offer short-term counselling, personal development workshops for individuals and wellbeing workshops for companies.

My approach is based on what I've learned from current research in psychology, what I’ve experienced alongside people from different cultures and respect for your pace and unique way of being in the world.
